Description
CAN Lite Carbon Filter 1000m³/hr – 50cm – 200mm (8″)
High-Capacity Odour Control With Lightweight, Professional Build Quality
The CAN Lite Carbon Filter 1000m³/hr – 200mm (8″) is a high-performance odour control solution designed for medium to large grow rooms where effective air scrubbing is essential. Built using high-quality activated carbon and a lightweight aluminium housing, this filter delivers powerful odour removal while placing minimal strain on your extraction fan and mounting system.
With a maximum airflow rating of 1000m³/hr, this model is well suited to 8-inch inline fans and provides consistent, reliable filtration when correctly matched to fan output. The 50cm carbon bed length ensures sufficient contact time between air and carbon, allowing strong odours to be absorbed efficiently before air is exhausted from the grow space.
CAN Lite filters are known for balancing performance, weight, and affordability, making them a popular choice for growers who want dependable odour control without the extra load of heavier commercial filters.

How to use
How to Use the Product & Best Usage Recommendations:
Installation
Install the filter inside the grow space whenever possible for maximum efficiency. Attach directly to an 8-inch inline extractor fan using ducting and appropriate clamps. Ensure all connections are airtight to prevent odour leaks.
The filter can be mounted horizontally or vertically, but must always be supported securely using straps or brackets to avoid stress on ducting or tent poles.
Best Performance Tips
Match the filter with a fan running at or below 1000m³/hr for optimal carbon contact time
Avoid excessive humidity (ideally keep RH below ~70%) to prolong carbon lifespan
Use a pre-filter sleeve and keep it clean to prevent dust clogging the carbon bed
Replace the filter when odour control noticeably decreases (typically 12–18 months depending on use)
Recommended Applications
Medium to large grow tents
Grow rooms with strong-smelling plants
Hydroponic, soil, and coco grow environments
Systems requiring reliable, continuous odour control
