Description
CAN Lite Carbon Filter 2500m³/hr – 1m – 200mm (8″)
High-Capacity Odour Control With Lightweight, Professional Build Quality
The CAN Lite Carbon Filter 2500m³/hr – 200mm (8″) is a professional-grade odour control solution designed for large grow rooms and high-airflow ventilation systems. Built using high-quality Australian RC412 activated carbon, this filter effectively removes strong and persistent odours while maintaining efficient airflow performance.
As part of the CAN Lite range, this model offers the same trusted filtration performance as standard CAN Filters but in a lighter aluminium housing, making installation easier without compromising effectiveness. With a maximum airflow rating of 2500m³/hr, it is ideal for pairing with powerful 8″ inline fans in demanding environments.
The 1-metre-long carbon bed ensures extended contact time between air and carbon, delivering consistent odour neutralisation throughout long flowering cycles.

How to use
How to Use the Product & Best Usage Recommendations:
Installation
Install the carbon filter inside the grow space where warm, odorous air accumulates—typically at ceiling height. Connect directly to an 8″ inline fan using suitable ducting and secure with heavy-duty clamps or fasteners. The filter can be mounted horizontally or vertically, provided airflow direction is respected.
Best Performance Tips
Always match the filter with a fan that does not exceed 2500m³/hr to ensure proper air-to-carbon contact time
Use a fan speed controller to fine-tune airflow and reduce noise
Ensure all ducting connections are airtight to prevent odour leaks
Replace or wash the outer dust sleeve regularly to extend carbon lifespan
Maintenance & Lifespan
Under normal grow room conditions, the carbon typically remains effective for 12–18 months, depending on humidity, air quality, and usage intensity. Excessively high humidity can reduce adsorption efficiency, so maintaining stable environmental conditions is recommended.
This filter is ideal for large tents, sealed rooms, and high-output flowering setups where odour control is critical and airflow demands are high.
