Description
CAN Lite Carbon Filter 3000m³/hr – 1m – 250mm (10″)
High-Capacity Odour Control for Large Grow Rooms
The CAN Lite Carbon Filter 3000m³/hr – 1m – 250mm (10″) is a lightweight, high-capacity air filtration solution designed to effectively remove odours and airborne contaminants from indoor grow environments. Built by Can Filters, a trusted name in ventilation technology, this filter uses high-quality activated carbon to trap and neutralise unwanted smells before air is exhausted from your grow space.
With a maximum airflow capacity of 3000m³/h, this filter is designed for large grow rooms or commercial cultivation setups that require strong ventilation and reliable odour control. The 250mm (10-inch) flange allows it to be paired with powerful inline fans capable of moving large volumes of air, ensuring efficient filtration even in high-demand systems.
Unlike heavier traditional filters, the CAN Lite series uses a lightweight construction while still maintaining excellent filtration performance. This makes installation easier and reduces strain on mounting systems without compromising effectiveness.
Key Features:
Maximum Airflow: 3000m³/h – suitable for high-capacity ventilation systems
Filter Length: 1 metre – increased carbon bed for improved contact time and filtration

How to use
How to Use the Product & Best Usage Recommendations
Installation
The carbon filter should be connected to your ventilation system using 250mm (10″) ducting and paired with a compatible inline fan capable of handling the filter’s airflow capacity. In most grow room setups, the filter is mounted inside the grow space and connected directly to the intake side of the extraction fan.
Air is pulled through the filter, where odours and airborne particles are absorbed by the activated carbon before the air is expelled through ducting to the outside.
Placement Tips
Install the filter near the ceiling, where warm air and odours naturally rise
Ensure the fan airflow rating does not exceed the filter’s maximum capacity
Use strong mounting straps or brackets due to the filter’s length and size
Maintenance
The included pre-filter sleeve helps prevent dust from clogging the carbon. It should be checked regularly and washed or replaced when dirty. Keeping the pre-filter clean helps maintain airflow and prolongs the lifespan of the carbon filter.
Under normal operating conditions, the carbon inside the filter typically lasts around 12–18 months, depending on humidity, airflow, and odour levels.
Best Usage Recommendations
Pair with a high-powered 250mm inline fan for optimal airflow
Maintain humidity levels below 70% to maximise carbon efficiency
Use sealed duct connections to prevent unfiltered air leaks
Replace the carbon filter once odour control noticeably declines
This filter is well suited to large grow tents, multi-light grow rooms, or commercial indoor cultivation spaces where reliable odour control and strong airflow are essential.
