The Straight Air Diffuser is a tubular aeration diffuser that releases fine bubbles into water when connected to a suitable air pump. It helps transfer oxygen into the water and encourages water circulation in pond and wastewater aeration systems.

Designed for use with the Charles Austen ET air pump range, it is available in three lengths: 250 mm, 500 mm and 1000 mm. All three sizes have a listed 19 mm connection, PVC support components and a specified bubble size of 1–3 mm.

Each length has a different continuous airflow range, so the diffuser should be matched to the air supply:

How to Use

Match the diffuser to the air supply. Check the continuous airflow range for your chosen length against the output of the intended air pump.

Check the connection. The manufacturer specifies a 19 mm connection.

Follow the system’s installation instructions. Use the installation guidance supplied with your aeration equipment for positioning and securing the diffuser in the water.

Operate within the specified airflow range. Supply air through the diffuser without exceeding the maximum rating for its size.
